Are there any truly FREE data recovery programs to recover deleted files after a system restore is performed?

My friend performed a system restore on her computer & a lot of her important files were lost. She tried a program called “UNDELETE” by Paretologic & it found the lost files, but then wanted her to pay $65 for her to actually restore the lost files. It didn’t say anything about having to pay until that point. I’m hoping there might be some out there that are truly free & if so, which ones?

Cent Percent Data Recovery From Mac System

I was working hard at my dream project and just about to finish. I still remembered that horrible night it was January 29, 2011. I was working at my Mac system and somehow system crashed down and after remounting the system I got 440 volt electric shock!! Ahh, I found the project data corrupted. I quickly hit time machine utility but all vain. I was like lost everything in just one go and it was so obvious that I lost my mind!!

One of my friend gave me a Mac data recovery software saying just try it can help you for sure. I have no other option than using it. I started I found following options in the interface:

With the name of Jesus, I clicked and it started scanning. I was sitting just near to it because I was really afraid of and scanning process is running its own speed. Scanning process marker started showing that 80% scanning has been completed I was so much excited and right at the moment my wife with three year kid called me from airport as they were returning from somewhere I have to pick them. But how can I leave my project? I called up that friend of mine what he told made me feel relax! He said just stop the scannng there and you can resume the scanning process from that point after at any time. I atomatically started thanking the mac data recovery guys and my friend.

After finishing my family work I again rushed to my Mac system and after short while I show a message flashing in the screen “Scan Completed”. My excitement was at its top I just click one of the file listed, waooo I can also see the preview of the it. I qickly select the file that related to my crucial project and “started recovery”. And finally what I saw made me happiest man on the earth. I gave tons of thanks to that friend of mine.

Does the computer system restore to factory conditions get rid of any spyware that may have affected it?

I have a DELL Dimension 3000 and it runs on Windows XP 2003. Some spyware got on the computer and even though i have quarantined it, the computer is still running very slow. So I wanted to start fresh by restoring the computer to factory conditions. Hope you can help.

Can I ged rid of spyware if I choose system restore?

I think that anti spyware software is not helping me, though I ve tried both Adware and spybot search & destroy. Do you have any other proposal how to clean my pc from trojans spyware etc? I do not want to format my hard disk.
