I have used Norton for many years, and they typically do a good job. This version of Internet security is no different. I would recommend to anyone. It is recommended that you update your virus definitions once the installation is complete to ensure that you are fully protected. The UI is neither cluttered, nor under kept. The program is easy to use, easy to understand. The version has even improved over 2010, it doesn't create panic alerts anymore when it finds and removes tracking cookies, and it's easier to see information about an intrusion or an infected file when one is detected. I recently had to contact their support group because I reformatted my netbook without uninstalling Norton -- so it 'ate' one of the three licenses.

I do find the recurring message for removing tracking cookies a bit annoying, so I may change this setting if this happens too frequently. I installed in on my PC, Laptop and my daughter's laptop. I was in disbelief at their arrogance and incompetence. They spent 6 hours making something terrible worse and then had the gall to tell me to see a technician, when everything ran fine before I loaded their software? The problems as I see them are probably pretty minor for most people. The things that I don't like are the speed (it is slower on my machine then the previous edition, meaning it is so bloated it bogs things down), and unlike previous editions, this one says it is incompatible with Webroot Spy Sweeper.
