TriTech Software Systems Signs Contract with State of New Hampshire for J-One Interface
North Grafton, MA (PRWEB) January 05, 2012
TriTech Software Systems, a leading provider of Public Safety and Medical Transportation software solutions, signed a contract with the State of New Hampshire to provide a software interface that will be incorporated into their J-ONE (Justice – One Network Environment) project. The concept behind the project is to create an interconnected network of criminal justice information that is accessible and shared between various components of the criminal justice system throughout the State of New Hampshire — to connect pieces for a more effective whole.
From the state to the county to the local level in New Hampshire – courts, law enforcement and prosecutors will access the J-ONE system, which will include TriTechs Imc Complaints and Dispositions interface, as well as the eCitation component, to access the latest and complete information, which results in many benefits. Perhaps the most obvious benefit of providing more accurate, timely and complete data is better protection of the citizens of New Hampshire. Additional benefits of a seamless flow of data from one component of the criminal justice system to another includes less data entry and therefore tax payer expense – as well as more accurate, timely and complete data availability for prosecutors, police and sheriff departments, and court system personnel.
Specifically, TriTechs Imc Complaints and Dispositions interface will enable data to electronically pass from prosecutors to courts to law enforcement agencies with the ability to update records and access the latest information. The interface will also enable the State of New Hampshire to send state law information to police and sheriff departments, thereby updating the local law enforcement agencies law database. TriTechs Imc eCitation will allow officers to use their Imc mobile units to electronically submit violator information to the traffic courts. Together, the Imc interfaces and J-ONE project also decrease paper consumption, thereby helping contribute to a greener system.
Keith Lohmann, Administrator for the J-ONE project with the New Hampshire Department of Safety Commissioners Office, said, Other states have attempted this type of project and have completed portions of it, but as far as I know, New Hampshire is the first state to integrate a system that is state-wide and system-wide in scope.
We are very excited to work with the state. When complete, this interface will benefit our customers and the citizens of New Hampshire, said Phil Sisk, Vice President of Operations for TriTech Imc Solutions.
Law enforcement entities interested in participating in the J-ONE information exchange system may apply by contacting Keith Lohmann at keith.lohmann(at)dos(dot)nh(dot)gov. Agencies interested in TriTechs Imc software can call 774-551-9180 or email Mark.Baranowski(at)tritech(dot)com.

Vanderbilt professor Owen Jones, who is one of the nation’s few professors of both law and biology, is leading the MacArthur Foundation Research Network on Law and Neuroscience. This team of researchers, from prominent universities around the county, is examining multiple effects of modern neuroscience on criminal law and trying to make neuroscience accessible and beneficial to America’s courtrooms. Penalties and the Restriction of Abortion
This is a video discussing the best method of enforcement for a restriction on abortion. It briefly addresses the feminist argument about the danger of illegal abortion but largely focuses on the judicial history of abortion prior to Roe v. Wade (Griswold v. Connecticut & the right to privacy) the history of philosophy and politics pertaining to crime and punishment, and the pre-Roe era restrictions on abortion. It should be educational for both pro-life, pro-choice, pro-abortion, anti-abortion, and other individuals interested in the issue. Power, Politics & Crime
Power, Politics & Crime

Used – Is crime in America really as bad as the public has been made to believe? Power, Politics, and Crime argues that the current panic over crime has been manufactured by the media, law enforcement bureaucracies, and the private prison industry. It shows how the definition of criminal behavior systematically singles out the inner-city African American. But urban minorities aren’t the only victims. Although crime rates have been declining for twenty-five years, vast amounts of money pour into
