Early Christmas Cheer For BAE Systems Down Under
London, United Kingdom – The Australian Government has awarded BAE Systems two new military helicopter support contracts, with a combined value of more than £133 million (AUD $240 million), bringing early Christmas cheer to the Company's operations in New South Wales and Queensland. The new contracts, which underpin BAE Systems' global frontline support capabilities will see the Company maintain Seahawk and Black Hawk helicopters, in service with both the Royal Australian Navy and Army. Scope of the contract work includes scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, structural repairs, engineering services, logistic support services, technical training for military personnel and the provision of specialised equipment and workshop support.
