Secretary Napolitano and USCIS Director Mayorkas Lead Naturalization Ceremony for More Than 100 New Citizens on Ellis Island
New York—Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano today was joined by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Director Alejandro Mayorkas to lead a naturalization ceremony for more than 100 citizenship candidates from more than 40 countries at Ellis Island. 'Ellis Island reminds us of the hard work and entrepreneurial spirit that so many immigrants have brought to America,' said Secretary Napolitano
